The onset of this project was predicated by stipulation of a two story residence with flat roofs and simple, linear geometry
The concept grew into a very linear design with offset planes and a modern palette.
At left we see a rendering study of the front gate. It was decided to use translucent glass, stainless steel and dark steel bands.
Front aerial view above shows most of the house, including a courtyard created by the glass entry gate and the U-floor plan.
Right and below: Views showing a chimney cap detail a reveal detail at the intersection of the wall and ceiling and a large skylight allowing light to pour over the entry overhang.
